SSUFC U16 Boys will be hosting the:
U16 Boys Soccer Provincials
Saturday, Sept. 11/10 and Sunday, Sept. 12/10

4:00 p.m. Valley vs. Halifax Dunbrack

2:00 p.m. Bronze Medal Game
4:00 p.m. Gold-Silver Medal Game
All teams must have a representative at the Pre-Tournament meeting. Meeting details to be confirmed by SNS in near future.
Teams that do not have a representative at the Pre-Tournament meeting will be fined $50.00 as per SNS rules.
Teams must bring their entry fee ($375) to the meeting and give it to the tournament coordinator. No fee = no games.
Don’t forget your team’s Player I.D. cards.

ABSOLUTELY No Smoking OR Alcohol permitted on school property.
Fundraising:
Some Refreshment items will be available for purchase during the Provincial weekend. Other FUNDRAISING items may include an admission charge per person, a 50:50 draw per game,etc. Soccer Nova Scotia does not provide to any clubs T-shirts for sale for Provincials.
Possible Accomodation options:
For any reservations, in all cases, make sure you identify that you are here for Provincials for Soccer U16 Boys and maybe they will have a sports rate available. Please remember that this is prime tourist season so there may be no discounts available.
They are quite a few bed and breakfasts in the area-just google Lunenburg, Mahone Bay area and it should give you the various B & B’s.

SSUFC Summer 2010 Provincial Results
CONGRATULATIONS to the two SSUFC U18 teams who played the SNS Summer 2010 Provincials on August 28 and 29th, 2010.
The U18 Girls brought home SIlver medals in their impressive final against Dartmouth United. The U18 Boys played the Consolation game against Suburban Football CLub with Suburban winning the close game by 1-0.
This is a great accomplishment for South Shore United Football Club with all of us very proud of all of our players.
SSUFC Summer 2010 Updated Results
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our SSUFC Players and Coaches. We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of all players on our six teams for the summer season 2010!
SSUFC is pleased to announce that the SSUFC U14D Girls and the SSUFC U14D Boys brought home the top award, winning the Provincial Championship in each of their divisions for the Summer 2010 season. Great work!
SSUFC also has three teams moving on to the Summer 2010 Provincials in the near future. We wish them all the BEST in their upcoming Provincials.
History and Founding Members
History including the Founding Members of the South Shore United Football Club
The South Shore United Football Club was incorporated as a Society under the Societies Act of the Province of Nova Scotia on April 25, 2008. The Club was assigned a Registry #3227774.
Founding members listed on the society application at the time were:

Transitional meetings were held which resulted in By-laws and Rules and Regulations being established in February of 2009.
The first official Annual General Meeting was held in April of 2009 at which time a full Board of Directors with a full Executive were elected by the membership as follows:

COMING SOON: The Board is developing guidelines for a Founders' Award for a female and male player which may take the form of a future one time fee reduction awarded based on an application form with various criteria. Further details will be posted here once the Board finalizes the details for presentation to the membership at the AGM in Oct/10.
