Fall/Winter Program Update for u11 - u18: registration only open for AAA teams 

Our registration for players age 10-18 will open soon. We are running placement sessions for our AAA (15 girls, u17 girls and u17 boys) now (see below) and then we will get the u11-u18 sessions up and running! 

The seasons for our u11-u18 (pre-academy & A/AA) starts on November 1st so placement sessions will take place in early October and the teams will start training 1-2 week before November 1st. We will post on social media, in Spond groups, and we will email out to our membership when registration for these placement sessions is open!  We are excited to get these teams up and running very soon :)

South Shore United FC, AAA Placement Sessions - Registration Now Open

Registration is now open on the SSU website for the U15AAA Girls, U17AAA Boys and U17AAA Girls placement sessions with South Shore United FC.

• Tryout Fee: $10 (one-time fee, regardless of the number of sessions or teams a player attends/tries out for).
• Winter Season Fees: AAA Fee- $1100
  (additional kit fee applies if a player does not already have the required kit).

Team Selection & Next Steps

• After final team selections, players chosen for the AAA team will complete a separate registration process.
• Placement sessions for the U15 A or AA girls' and U18 boys' and girls’ team(s) will be announced once AAA selections are complete.

• Dates: TBD (targeting late September), dates will be communicated through Spond, email and social media.

      • Wednesday September 24, 7-8:30pm at HB Studios Sports Centre (the girls are asked to be at HB, dressed and ready to go 15mins before the start of the session to check in)
      • Saturday September 27, time and location TBA
      • Sunday September 28th, 2-4pm, Liverpool Regional High School Turf
    • U17AAA Boys
      • Wednesday September 24, 8:30-10pm, HB Studios Sports Centre
      • Saturday September 27th, 10am-12pm, Hebbville Academy
      • A third session will be scheduled if necessary
    • U17AAA Girls
      • Tuesday September 23rd, 7-8:30pm, HB Studios Sports Centre
      • Thursday September 25th, 7-8:30pm, HB Studios Sports Centre
      • Sunday September 28th, 4-6pm, Liverpool Regional High School turf

Sessions will take place before and separate from the U15A or AA girls' and U18 boys' and girls’ team(s). We will do our best to avoid conflicts with school soccer schedules.

Fall/Winter Program Information for u3-u9: Registration is NOW OPEN!

 We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for our Winter 2025/26 Mini Program! This year, we’ve made a few exciting changes, including a new Nova Scotia inspired theme for our minis:

Ocean & Coastal Theme

• U3 - SSU Tides (little waves just starting out)
• U5 - SSU Ripples (small but full of energy)
• U7 - SSU Waves (gaining strength and movement)
• U9 - SSU Storms (powerful, fast, exciting)

We hope this re-brand resonates with you and the kids, while also reflecting our South Shore culture.

Our commitment remains the same: to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and play. While we’ll be sending a short parent survey soon, we didn’t want to delay opening registration any longer.

Program Details

• Registration Options:
• Block 1 (October-December) - ideally 8 sessions (weather permitting)
• Built-in make-up date for one cancelation; further cancelations will not be made up and refunds cannot be issued.
• Block 1 must conclude by December 20th.
• FULL 16 week registration (October to the end of February) - ideally 16 sessions
• You’ll save by registering for the full 16 weeks up front (U9 - SSU Storms is a 16 week program)
• Winter program will conclude on February 28^th (make up date of March 7 in case of inclement weather cancelation)
• There will be a subsequent registration for Block 2 in December (if space is available)
• Coaching:
  The program will be led primarily by our SSU athletes, with Head Coaches supported by assistant coaches throughout the morning. All sessions will run under the supervision of SSU staff and leadership to ensure the best possible experience for the kids.
• Capacity:
  To maintain an effective coach-to-player ratio, program spots are capped. We encourage you to register early, as we’ll begin public promotion through social media this weekend and schools shortly after.
• Fees:
  We recognize the registration fee is a meaningful commitment. We aim to deliver high-value, well-run programming in return. Having said this, we are very proud to announce the fees will remain the same as they were last winter.  Please ensure fees are paid prior to October, or reach out to make arrangements with:
